Head Lifeguard + Seasonal Guards

Marin Country Club is looking for a lead lifeguard and additional seasonal lifeguards to work shifts beginning in May, with availability into September.

Lifeguard duties include: Open & close pool facility, pool supervision, enforce all rules and Club policies, ensure a safe environment, pool clean up, take pool chemical readings, and check Members in.

Requirements
Must be 17 years of age or older and certified in lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR. Must have good work ethic and enjoy working in a friendly, outdoor environment!

Schedule:
-8 hour shift
-Holidays
-Monday to Friday
-Weekend availability

Banquet Server

Part Time | $15.53/hour (+ Gratuity)

The Banquet Server is a key member of the banquet team and is responsible for assisting the Executive Chef and Assistant Food & Beverage Manager in the oversight of all food & beverage operations at the property. This includes assisting in the daily execution of all banquet/dining functions at the property. The Banquet Server will apply all of their experience and knowledge to assuring outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities:
-Perform the correct policies and procedures
-Assist with banquet set-up and breakdown of tables, decoration, equipment, serving areas and related activities in an accurate and timely manner
-Provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events/a la carte dining
-Ensure satisfaction by communicating with the client throughout the event regarding any changes, substitutions or special requests
-Responsible for serving clients during events (refilling drinks, delivering food, bussing tables, etc.)
-Perform other duties assigned by manager or supervisor

This is a part time position that requires availability nights, weekends and holidays.

Golf Course Maintenance

Full-time, Part-time | Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Performs a diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance and construction. Performs semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work and related tasks as required.

Essential Duties:
Performs general landscape maintenance using hand held equipment.
Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as required.

Certificates/Licenses:
Valid Driver’s License

Expedites orders in a timely manner.

Helps reduce loss/waste.
Communicates equipment repair needs with chef.
Actively participates in training efforts.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Attends staff meetings.
Checks and dates all deliveries received and report any variances to chef in charge.
Verifies that all coolers are at the proper temperatures and are cleaned on a daily basis.
Processes inventory requisition and receives supplies as necessary for quality production.
Prepares the proper amount of food according to production or forecast sheets and production plans.
Prepares items in accordance with established recipes for a consistent product.
